What a wonderful time I had last week being a guest entertainer with P&O cruises! After successfully taking part in an audition at Cunard House in Southampton, this was the first engagement as a P&O Cruise Speaker I had with the cruise line. I had the pleasure of speaking onboard the P&O Ventura for an Easter cruise to Amsterdam, Bruges and Guernsey.
As a guest speaker on a Cruise ship, I only speak on Sea Days. A sea day is when the ship is not docked at port. For this cruise, I had been engaged to speak for two sea days but after high winds left us unable to dock at Guernsey, I pulled an extra presentation out of the hat to run an extra speaker session on the unplanned sea day!
As this was a short cruise, I covered 3 key self development topics. These were as follows:
- Building Confidence in less than 1 minute a day
- How to stop worrying
- How to be your own best friend.
The turn out was excellent ! Also a big thank you to the crew who are always so helpful when setting up the stage and technical equipment.
Thank you to my audience!
Keynote speaking is a true passion of mine and I always feel excited to be on stage. An additional benefit is the wonderful audiences I get the opportunity to share my talks with. The good news is that many people reach out to me during and after the cruise and they are interested in either me being a guest speaker at their event or they are looking for life coaching sessions.
Although I am based in the Northamptonshire area, I work with people all over the world via Skype, Facetime or telephone. Skype Life Coaching sessions are just as effective I promise!
