Your inner gremlin is the voice of your negative belief system.  It is that annoying voice in your head that keeps telling you that you are wrong, you are not good enough, not worthy or not ‘ up to it‘.  Most of the time, it is your own personal critic in your mind telling you what you should and shouldn’t do.

We all have an inner gremlin and for many people, it is the voice of our early childhood.  If you grew up in a family where you were lucky enough to hear lots of positive messages about yourself,  your inner gremlin won’t be so loud and negative.  It could be rather friendly actually!   However, if your inner gremlin is loud, painful or hurtful, then it could well be the voice of all those negative messages you may have heard about yourself and the world, when you were growing up.

Your Inner Gremlin Listens to Everything.

When you were born,  you are mostly unprogrammed.  As a result, you  receive your programming ( or unconscious beliefs and thoughts) from the people you spend the majority of your time with.    Unfortunately, as children, we have no filter so a lot of we hear, is just like SPAM.  However, we believe it all!   We turn these messages upon ourselves labelling ourselves as being ‘ not good enough’ ‘ not worthy’ or just not enough.  These SPAM beliefs then become our very own personal inner gremlin.

We Pay too much attention to it!

Many of us do not realise that our inner gremlin is around the size of a peanut.   We give it so much power! We believe everything it says about ourselves and all the limitations it places upon us.  When we do this, it can really prevent us from feeling our best and becoming our true authentic selves.

It keeps us STUCK

Your inner Gremlin can also keep you feeling stuck.   You may wish your life was different, or try to change things in your life for the better,  but if left untamed, it will hold you back and prevent you from moving forward.
